If you have or even if you have not lost your job the video below really captures what I believe in my heart, everything happens for a reason. I know this post is a little bit out there but a study recently
peaked my interest and thought those with kids should know. At one time the ingestion of coins by children was considered innocuos. In 1997 21,000 children presented to the ER after ingesting coins, after choking risk had passed children were released and the coins were allowed to follow the normal course of the digestive tract and to eventually be expelled.
I don’t know what the ER’s current procedures are but it turns out that post 1982 pennies should be closely monitored as they can cause zinc mortality and ulceration of the stomach. Check out the study in the Journal of Radiology.
